Saint Valentine, the patron of lovers and the reason for the day of love. Although people claim it´s a commercial holiday, I think that it´s always beautiful to celebrate and enjoy this special day with the people we love.

Do you know the story of saint Valentine? This holiday was introduced by the catholic church in the 2nd century in Rome where the priest Valentine opposed the order of Claudio II which prohibited the celebration of matrimony between young people. The reason for this: because he thought single soldiers fought better than those with sentimental attachments.

But what happened then? Saint Valentine still continued marrying the young lovers in secret.

My Valentine´s day began by receiving a beautiful bouquet of two dozen red roses tied in a big red bow, and a romantic card.

At night, my Valentine and I went to dinner at Contraluz restaurant, and after that we joined some other couples at Gatsby club. We finished the night at a private table with champagne in Bling Disco. It was an amazing and fun day!
